tunnel can cut the travel time around Dubai to ‘just minutes’

The Dubai Loop by Elon Musk’s The Boring Company plans to connect all the major hubs throughout the UAE city. Potential speeds allowed for the vehicles are up to 100 miles per hour. The company says that the tunnel can cut the travel time around Dubai to ‘just minutes.’ As mentioned, there are 11 stations spanning across the 17-kilometer tunnel. On the other hand, it is only the first phase of the Dubai Loop by Elon Musk’s The Boring Company.

From 20,000 passengers per hour, the expanded system aims to handle over 100,000 passengers once the expansion has finished and after the first phase. The Memorandum of Understanding involves conducting studies and exchanging information on the specifications and standards required by Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority for the project. The creation of the Dubai Loop by Elon Musk’s The Boring Company aligns with Dubai’s sustainability goals, which is part of the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050. There’s no news yet on when the construction begins.
