Enter into children's play, and you will find the place where their minds, hearts, and souls meet.” — Virginia Axline.

Heads up! As a practice, we know it’s important to know all the details about our education and experience. However, we also want to honor our values of authenticity and being humans first. If you are looking for all the formal things, keep scrolling (it’s at the bottom).

Emma Snyder

Therapist (Clinical Intern)

In doing therapy I strive to create a safe space for people to process and work through their thoughts and emotions that have become a burden for them in everyday life. I help illuminate the truth of their reality in order to gain clarity and move through it with greater knowing and intention.

I want to lift people up to see their worth and understand their purpose so they can move through life with a self-concept of how they fit into the whole. I hope to guide people in exploring their inner worlds and how their current processes affect their relationship with the outer world.

I help individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and relationship dynamics.

One of my passion areas is supporting kids in therapy, in particular those children who have experienced neglect or disruption to normal developmental milestones and experiences. I love supporting them to get in touch with themselves, aid in cultivating a conscious awareness of their behaviors, and promoting resiliency. Therapeutic interventions allow children to create stronger relationships and explore how they can move forward with new skills and tools while simultaneously building a stronger sense of self.

In past roles I have supported kids in homes and in schools, served in public and private arenas, and worked with parents, teachers, and family systems to discern the best course of action for each child. I look forward to seeing how this next chapter allows me to continue in this work.

I have a deep love for astrology and yoga and when requested love bringing aspects of one or both of these into my work with clients. The intersectionality of these is a particular sweet spot for me!
