Yoga Skills Workshop
A fusion of DBT skills + yoga principles
This in-person, 10-week series focuses on learning DBT skills and implementing them through the practice of yoga. Participants will learn mindfulness, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness skills.
This workshop is geared towards adults (18+) who are looking to connect with their body, deepen their mindfulness practice and develop skills for more effective thinking and acting. All levels of yoga are welcome.
The workshop will be held in person at Mindful Wellbeing on Tuesdays from 4:30 to 6:00 pm.
Our next session begins on February 20th, 2024.

Postpartum Preparation Workshop
Coming Soon! An opportunity to engage in an on-demand Postpartum Preparation Workshop to create a holistic plan for 4th trimester wellness (also known as the postpartum period). During the workshop, you will review universal postpartum needs and develop skills to discover resiliency within yourself. You will leave with a postpartum plan specific to your needs with the goal of transitioning into parenthood with empowerment, grace, and self-compassion.

The Postpartum Preparation Workshop includes diving into specifics of who you can turn to for help, the postpartum recovery process, breastfeeding and bottle-feeding education/tips, how to better understand and address mental health challenges that may arise, and how to heal from your birth experience through pelvic floor education and movement practices. The workshop will include evidence-based presentations, hands-on-practice, group discussions, and handouts with education/resources at the end of each session.
Once registration is completed, parents will be provided a login to view and complete the on-demand curriculum through Mindful Wellbeing’s secure learning portal.
*Expecting mothers, new mothers, and mothers looking for more postpartum information/connection are all welcome to sign up!
$100 for the workshop, available for 1 year once purchased. Financial hardship accommodations available upon request.
Mama Be Well Virtual Support Group
Virtual, Drop-In Support, Thursdays 10 am to 11 am
This virtual, drop-in support group has been designed to support women in the everyday stressors that arise with parenting. During the group, you will connect with and receive support from other mothers.
Group discussions will include the impact of stress, mindfulness, and breath awareness, self-care, challenging unhelpful thoughts, the relationship between our mood and interactions with others, support systems, communication styles, and boundaries to support you on your parenting journey.
The free virtual support group is kicking off again on November 16th. Enrollment is ongoing! This group is free to those who register using the link below. Links for the group will be sent out the day before or on the day of the group once you have completed registration.
NICU Homeward Bound Support Group

Support groups for mothers transitioning home from the NICU
Whether you are about to transition home from a hospital stay or are a few years out from your experience, this support group will provide you as mothers an opportunity to discuss the challenges and successes along the way.
These virtual and in-person support groups have been designed to support mothers on their journey through transitioning home from the NICU.

The NICU Homeward Bound program has been designed to support women who have had a child in the NICU or currently have a child in the NICU.
These virtual and in-person support groups are a 6-week series to dive into what is yet to come or what has transpired on your road to bringing your child home from the NICU. Hosted by Occupational Therapy Doctoral Student Sydney Orr, the groups have been designed with mothers in mind. Group discussions will include:
∙ Honoring your identity and role as a mother
∙ Bonding activities with your child outside of the NICU
∙ Acknowledge the grief you may have experienced from not having the experience you were hoping for
∙ Tackling fear around infant milestones
∙ Enhancing interactions with yourself and others
∙ Developing resiliency by challenging unhelpful thoughts
∙ Strengthening your maternal self-efficacy to support you on your parenting journey
Virtual groups will be held using Google Meet while in-person options will be hosted at the Mindful Wellbeing space in Coon Rapids, MN. Dates and times will be finalized based on preferences with those who express interest.
